Couple Days Prior
Declutter
o Remove personal items like family photos and excessive decorations – as desired.
Exterior Cleanup
o Trim bushes and hedges.
o Mow the lawn and remove any weeds.
o Sweep or pressure wash driveway.
o Clean and arrange outdoor furniture.
Lighting
o Check that all light bulbs are working and replace any that are burnt out.
o Ensure that all light fixtures have matching bulbs for consistent lighting.
Repairs
o Address any minor repairs, such as loose cabinet handles or leaky faucets.
Curb Appeal
o Ensure that the front of the house is well-maintained and welcoming.
Day Before
General Cleaning
o Vacuum and mop floors.
o Dust all surfaces.
o Clean windows and mirrors.
o Wipe down countertops and kitchen appliances.
o Clean bathroom fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and showers/bathtubs.
Day Of
Staging
o Arrange furniture and decor to highlight the best features of each room.
General Cleaning
o Clear all counter tops of unnecessary items (toaster, toothpaste, air fryer etc.)
Pets
o If possible, remove pets from the property during the photoshoot.
o Clean up pet hair, litter boxes, animal bowls etc.
Personal Items
o Secure valuable or personal items that you wish to not have visible in photos.
Access
o Make sure all rooms and outdoor areas are accessible to the photographer.
NOTE: We arrive prior to the photographer to assist with final touches.
